This thread isn't for true suffering, just the tiny, pisspoor things which against which we travail on a daily basis. No "I hadda get back surgery" stuff here -- this is for "I scooped ice cream too hard and my shoulder hurts" level bullshit.

I was in the USA for a month, came home last night. Thought I'd done a full shutdown on my PC before I left, but it had been turning itself off and on all month according to my wife and son. :-/

Did a full shutdown, updated, made sure everything was OK. Went to bed due to jetlag while family continued to clean house.

Woke up this morning, no internet connection. Troubleshooting involved checking wifi (fine) which narrowed it down to an internal physical problem somewhere. Checked back of PC connection, checked bridge connection, switched LAN ports to be safe, reset the modem and routers...

Turned out someone had knocked the LAN bridge power adapter's cable off.

Return to PC, keyboard's not working. Unplug the USB and re-seat it: back in business!

Annoying to have to deal with all this stuff before finishing my coffee.

This is 100% accurate. It also stays dark too late. I was waking up to bright mornings at 05:30 consistently in summer, but it was well past 06:00 before things even started to get dawn-y.

Damn, at my age this is my thread.

Random pains because I walked too far in bad shoes, neck pain because I read too long in bed.

Had plans to work out at lunch today. Woke up to an over full laundry basket, and an overflowing kitchen sink. My neatnik tendencies are in full bloom, like the pollen from a cedar tree in April. I've just about wrapped up hanging the two loads of laundry. No time to work out.

How many reps of lifting the full washing basket did you do?

Ooh, I like the cut of that particular jib!

This morning I started with a stretch, gave just enough encouragement that I'll probably go for a fast walk during lunch.

my pinkie toenail is split and it randomly snags on sock fibers resulting in incredible pain and probably making the problem worse

I've trimmed it back as much as I'm willing

it will take ages to repair itself

I keep putting band-aids on it and then they fall off after a day

just now I put regular tape on it, anything to stop this shit
