Remnant being Complete is pretty nice. That easily could have been just the base game.

Some of the lesser name stuff on the bottom looks kinda neat.

I like the look of Hot Brass, mostly because I have played the shit out of Door Kickers and Breach & Clear but yeeeeaaaaaaahhhhhh.... kind of a crappy month.

I was a bit whatyearisit.jpeg when I saw what the headliner is - it's not exactly a super timely pickup

I'm somewhat okay with this month even if I have the headliner.

The Forgotten City sounds somewhat interesting, had never even heard of it before.

Didn't Deceive Inc. just come out? Must have really tanked.

Really need them to stop giving me roguelike games with playing cards, I can't tell them apart even if they are different.

The Forgotten City is pretty awesome.

Best to go in blind. Without dipping into spoilers, it originated as a Skyrim mod, and that’s basically how it plays. But limited to a single small city, with heaps of detail and complexity in choice, with minimal combat. It’s about exploration and detective work. Bonus if you’re an ancient history nerd and enjoy musing about societal ethics and religions.

Build your own bundle of a bunch of old games you may or may not recognize including some that were more popular on consoles, 1 for $1, 5 for $3, 10 for $5:
https://www.fanatical.com/en/pick-and-mix/build-your-own-retro-bundle

At least one of these is the PS1 game running in Bleem which is an emulator that hasn't been updated in 22 years. lol

I already got and played a lot of this, but was considering Gotham Knights at $13 for something basic to fuck around with. Would get Back 4 Blood, MK11 and Shadow of War Definitive for $2!

edit: Forgot to mention the Gotham Knights pass thing is just cosmetics, not new missions or something.

Gotham Knights, man, it's been a while since I abandoned an open-world game. So disappointing.
Actually, the previous abandoned OWG is on there, too: Mad Max. Just super samey, got tired of doing the same thing over and over.
But I'd go back to Mad Max before Gotham Knights…

Quote:In the mood for some action games that are as risque as they are relentless? This bundle from D3 has the goods, with a selection of titles that bring the white-knuckle action alongside a healthy dose of fan service. In Samurai Maiden, you’re a young woman with killer katana skills who’s whisked back to Japan’s Sengoku period to battle demonic monstrosities alongside her cute ninja comrades. Bullet Girls Phantasia is a third-person shooter that has you blasting away at hordes of orcs, skeletons, and other fantasy baddies, with content that dials the lewdness up to 11. Onee Chanbara Origin is an HD remake of the first two games in the pioneering bikini-wearing, zombie-slaying action series, both as ravishing and action-packed as ever. Pay what you want for all these games and more, and help support Cool Effect and One Tree Planted with your purchase!

Also included are a host of other titles inspired by the old school greats, including the dark, Lovecraft-inspired Forgive Me Father 2, and Turbo Overkill, whose over-the-top action is excessive even by boomer shooter standards. Kind of telegraphing that the next six months of games will be bottom of the barrel-tier garbage. Gotta lock them subs in long-term.

It doesn't affect Humble Bundle, just Humble Games, which was a publishing wing branded to be related by its parent company.

It still sucks big-time. These monolithic companies like Ziff-Davis, Amazon, and Google decide "oh, we should do games" without understanding the how and why things work. They try to apply what they already do to the games model, instead of trying to understand what they're attempting. It's like having a map, but it's not for the area they're trying to navigate: the terrain does not line up, and they end up walking into a swamp.
