Jason is a self hating video game fan. He hates that he is interested and reports a hobby that most people look down on it. So his mentality is from the 2010’s game jurno of “let’s demean the hobby unironically to forced it to grow up”.

When porn discussion sites are allowing freer discussion of the most significant non-election event in recent US history than an ostensibly progressive discussion forum, you know staff have lost the plot.

If this is due to B-Dubs being afraid of his corporate overlords / ad revenue loss, then this site has run its course.

If this is due to staff being too overwhelmed to moderate the threads in question, which doesn't appear to be the case since they were able enough to passionately participate in the discussion, then take a break and appoint staff who are willing.

There's no point in a forum where discussion of something this major isn't allowed.

I like how they immediately jump to the ad revenue in thinking that's why B-Dubs doesn't want people talking about who needs to murdered while one of his admins runs around yelling at everyone to get ORGANIZING and using the same type of language. While there's other staff who have actively told people to arm up and start doing violence with even more staff members (including those already mentioned) arguing that we're all on the precipice of being deliberately murdered and nobody cares about us.

They completely forget they were mad at him for responding harshly to Nepenthe successfully convincing him to let himself be killed rather than vote for Democrats who are useless at best and in league with those killing us at worst.

Can't even conceive that B-Dubs, or the other staff that they attack constantly as white libs, might not actually think that "random chaos" should be the dominant form of praxis in the world.
