All that can be automated with AI. We created all these new service level positions over the years but we simply have no need for glorified typists anymore.

People don't like communism because people like to strive for more and communism doesn't account for that. AI government would have a similar problem in that people want to be able to advocate to governments to take care of THEIR particular needs. Politicians get elected by choosing to favour certain interest groups over others. The minute a politician puts their job ahead of the AI-driven efficiency model, the whole thing falls over.

The work of the public sector is not just shuffling paper. It's implementing the policy of the government to determine what groups should be favoured and how.
