But "social justice" is either a nonsensical term or a horrific thing. The very concept mandates only a singular way of life that must be imposed on everyone, that society must have a singular deliberate end goal to be achieved. This violates Hume's maxim that one should treat not treat others as ends, "social justice" treats all but the theorizer as ends for their own personal desires. Something that in the real world only translates to an elite that has the power to oppress others. Presumably the very thing the "woke" or "SJW" wishes to avoid. They're choosing a method that will only result in what they claim to be fighting. Therefore, being against "social justice" is rational.

The animation involved should've made it clear that the trailer wasn't actually generated because it was too stable.

But the weird ass direction of the trailer, the lack of gameplay info, and the nonsensical Steam page made me personally think "scam vaporware" or some shit. But it was a blip in a night of heavy hitting reveals (still high off Okami 2.)

Edit: It's also further amusing that we are discussing correcting misinformation in a thread about a technology specifically meant to spread misinformation. The fact that people cannot tell what is and isn't AI with high accuracy now is literally the point. his first point is how the anti-woke seem to have trouble coming up with a definition of woke, they're all contradictory, at 2:20 he plays a clip where a guy says that the definition of woke is the "making sacred" of minority groups and he seizes on this like the guy is telling on himself, revealing too much

he goes on to say, shouldn't they be sacred, wouldn't it be bad if we said "the problem with blacks is X" or "the problem with women is Y?"

but never addresses how within ""woke"" it is acceptable and even encouraged to say "the problem with white people is X"

I also think the idea of "making groups sacred" goes deeper than not being able to speak about groups, it also means not being able to speak about individuals in the context of their group (i.e. "just what I would expect coming from a black person") which we of course should not do, but then the same being able to be used in reverse to deflect criticism (i.e. "you're just saying that because I'm black")

when the group is sacred it becomes an unassailable shield, and they are careful to deny that same shield for white people ("you're just saying that because I'm white")

the biggest problem seems to be the hypocrisy, if you really are for equity and inclusion, then white people need to be afforded the same protections rather than maintaining this vague incalculable "correcting years of injustices by punishing them now" (the same protections socially, as legally of course they already do, this is about what a society values and allows)

in conclusion, surface level take unwilling to examine what peoples' issues actually are, in service of his own argument
