Everything is murder, everything is genocide, everything is dehumanizing, give me what I want or it's suicide time. Twisting the arm of empathy until it violently breaks!

As a hater of freshly cut grass, could everyone mow their lawns after dark? I (try to) go for a run each day, typically in the cooler early daylight, which is also when people tend to cut their grass.
Please consider restructuring typical American life on a massive scale, to resolve an issue I could address myself by making a very minor adjustment to my schedule. ![]()

don't worry, in most cases they don't make sense to americans either
I get that it might be good to have certain standards for upkeep of a property but let the city dictate that, that should be sufficient ![]() (03-03-2025, 03:02 AM)Potato wrote: HOAs are one of those hilariously American things that make no sense to anyone else. You guys call them body corps or stratas. The development company purchases a big plot of land, then as people buy the parcels they agree to become part of the HOA because they aren't sold to anyone who doesn't agree. ![]()

Body corps and strata are only for properties where there is common ownership of the land such as apartments and townhouses. It would be exceedingly rare (or non-existent) for a body corp or strata to be in place for single dwelling houses in a suburban neighbourhood. ![]()

Quote:Despite calls for an "economic blackout" targeting major retailers on Feb. 28, early data reveals Amazon sales actually increased during the boycott period. According to analytics from Momentum Commerce, Amazon's transactions rose 1% compared to typical Friday patterns, suggesting the boycott had limited impact on the e-commerce giant. ![]() ![]() |
