Mocking the thing about that TikTok really downplays the insanity of the original 20+ tweet thread. The guy doesn't want to crash the economy because of that he wants to crash it as part of some Nepenthe-ish Year Zero type fantasy that Trump is going to create some kind of utopia from the rubble. There's more tweets complaining about how all cars look the same and all modern art is soulless than that TikTok.

Also the dude pays for Twitter and still wrote like a 30 tweet thread.

Columbia University in New York City announced Thursday that it had expelled, suspended and revoked the degrees of student activists who forcibly took over a campus building last spring during raucous anti-Israel protests.

The university’s judicial board issued “multi-year suspensions, temporary degree revocations, and expulsions” for the takeover of Hamilton Hall, Columbia said in a statement. There were no details about the number of students punished.

The campus coalition of anti-Israel groups, Columbia University Apartheid Divest, claimed that 22 students had been sanctioned. The group said on social media that nine students from Columbia and its affiliate Barnard College had been expelled.

I'm sure the students will accept their punishment gracefully, knowing their actions stopped the war. I know my family would appreciate it if I wasted all that time and money to accomplish absolutely nothing here or in the Middle East.
