Presumably just on the mathematics of a 2D surface (skin) enveloping a 3D object (women) Dove sells more volume of product to fatties than skinnies so its very much in their business interest to encourage fat women who use more product
It puts the Dove on its skin, or else it gets the hose

I wonder where the threshold is when you become a certain amount of fat that moving is too much of a struggle so you half-ass everything, the cleaning, the make-up, to the point where you use the same amount/less product than skinny women
"Yeah, okay, so they're gonna have to remove a wall of your house to move your corpse when you die, and your clean yourself with a rag on a stick, but you can still have beautiful clear and moistured skin" - Future Dove campaign
Really, it’s strange to observe the extremes women are hitting with bodyweight. Fatter women are getting fatter. Thinner women are getting thinner. To where there’s this buccal fat removal trend making faces look gaunt. When I watched The Menu, for all the leaps one makes to suspend their disbelief for fiction, casting Anya Taylor Joy as a character who eats food was a bridge too far.

Same guy who wrote that review I posted a while back about how Guardians of the Galaxy 3 proves Disney/Marvel isn't really on the side of progressives and LGBTQIA2S+ who want to overthrow capitalism.
This thread does double duty as late stage capitalism, yeah?

You know, sometimes I struggle with if this view is akin to parental advisory warnings on rap CDs and the like. But I don’t think kids 14 and under should be posting on Reddit. Much less sharing personal info and photos. Aren’t they still teaching stranger danger?

I think that's why that thread only has one reply, most people understand it's dangerous to every party involved to interact with minors online, and if nothing else it sets a bad precedent, regardless of how heckin valid they are

I think at some point people got confused about what "reclaiming slurs" actually means. (or did I get confused?)
Like how do you reclaim a slur by just making it real? I sort of get the angry mindset, "well If you'll call me that I'll just say it myself" but it seems immensely counter productive. Reclaiming slurs is done by actually changing their meaning.
Like how the n-word in the black community can be just a different way to refer to a friend, or how "bitch" gets turned into something positive when Meredith Brooks proudly calls herself one. Being all "haha, I'm actually targeting your kids" is not that.
Reminds me a lot of that scene in Four Lions

reminds me of obama's "please proceed, governor," never stop someone when they're on a roll
go right ahead, keep talking about how you're coming for peoples' children
