Exterminate everyone between the ages of 15 and 39.

Let's start fresh with a new generation that hasn't been completely infantilised.

I think we get tired of people as we get older. At least, that's what seems to be happening for me, personally. My DGAF rating has just soared like a majestic eagle in the past couple years.

Lately I’ve been looking into adjustable dumbbells. Long story short, the pair of 90lbs I have are too light for foundational movements and too heavy to easily transport to other countries. The ideal set were handmade by some Canadian dude. Went up to 125lb, all metal, but cost $3000 USD plus shipping 250+ lbs. Side note: Canada has a scene of likely autistic guys who design and build bespoke gym equipment. Actually pretty interesting to read about. Anyway, this company Rep partnered with the Canadian dude, scaled down the materials, and are having it built in China for $1300 with free shipping.

Been thinking about changing jobs recently so I put a few applications out there.

Got an email from one of them today from the HR/recruitment consultancy that's running the process saying I've been successful in gaining an interview. They have scheduled it for Wednesday without even contacting me first.

I have a fucking meeting at that time and would have told these buffoons that if they bothered calling me to confirm.

To top it all of, they are an "online" company:

Quote:Please be aware that we are an online company and provide ALL correspondence via email for record keeping purposes.

Heh

Couldn't even call someone to discuss it. Had to email back.

Oh, and I've been given less than 24 hours to confirm the interview.

WTF?

Recruitment agents should be drowned in 3 inches of water.

I bought some cheapo tea bags just for extra filler (not that kind) and it seems that some of them aren't really sealed properly.

This means there's this exciting moment where I dangerously pour in water and there's a possibly they'll open up and the tea will go everywhere into the water.

Get a tea strainer. Loose leaf is much better than bagged and you get to feel superior to the peons that way.

Oh, what I meant is that I get cheaper tea bags to use to stretch the more expensive teas further and sometimes just out of laziness. I actually quite like the taste of this particular Black tea brand even though it's way cheaper than some other stuff. Especially outright garbage like Lipton.

Just never had a box where some of the bags just come apart and the tea goes everywhere in your cup. I've seen holes before but not outright failure. lol

Yeah that blows when it happens. The whole box is fucked like that?

Edit: Earl Grey, Lapsang Souchong, Assam ftw.

Nah, that's what great, most of them are fine but every so often... I don't even want to see if I can tell before, it's too exciting not knowing if the pour will turn into chaos.

Side effect of Bidenomics it happens here with expensive brand tea like Lipton. Sometimes the tea bags just rip straight open.
Other times its almost like termites or ants have eaten through the bags even though the box is sealed, really weird.

The little strings break very easily too, leaving the tea bag floating in your cup.

I'm not buying Lipton anymore, €7,- for a box of 8 broken tea bags.

I only drink loose leaf tea  But that's none of my business...

Get Twinings instead. That's probably the best big brand tea. Or just get Pickwick.

Saw a big crow eating a dead roadkill crow at an intersection. Light turns green and a car runs over it. Now a third crow showed up to eat the second crow. Presumably this cycle continues forever.

one time someone made a tumblr account with my email, and apparently tumblr didn't require any kind of authorization, just put you right on through to your shiny new account

it was some kind of weird etsy-like advertisements for some business

I said I forgot my password, got a new one sent to my email, logged in and deleted it

Had a dream that I was in my room at my parents house in the past (but me now) and spilled half a glass of water that soaked the entire floor of carpet and it was very unpleasant to walk on. Existential

The “minor inconvenience is the focus of your entire existence” is like the only theme in my dreams as an adult. Occasionally I’ll have the “object of your desire is within reach but slips through your fingers at the last minute then you wake up” dream but 90% of the time it’s the first.

I still occasionally have flashbacks to the time that I vividly dreamed that I had forgotten to complete an assessment for university and woke in a severe panic.

The thing was that I hadn't studied for more than 10 years when I had that dream and I still get anxious whenever I think about it.

oh I have dreams where there's a whole college course I was supposed to be attending all semester and just didn't go

I expected to be able to show up for important tests and ace those easily but I had missed so much that the class was like alien to me, no one remembered that I was supposed to be there, or assumed I had dropped it a long time ago, and I was completely doomed on the final

Once again I find myself reading about skincare treatments and they’ve moved on from rocks to ivermectin cream bought at farm supply stores. Big dermatology doesn’t want you to know this secret, apparently.
