Dems have really ramped up the shitty mail they send me, was every day this week. And all the pretending to be worried about me not voting material. 80% of it is about abortion, and the rest is Kamala promising me she's going to lower costs on groceries, food and gas. The one exception from these patterns is the guy running for the House to replace Slotkin who spends all his time talking about being a "regular guy" and how he works with Republicans on legislation. Which sounds like chud dogwhistling.

All because I voted for current Republican Roque "Rocky" de La Fuente in the 2016 Democratic primary so I could see my vote in the results.

I find it weird they don't assume I voted for Bernie and don't vote because they didn't nominate him. Bernie

Podcast and interview strategy is sort of interesting. Trump and Harris are really only going to places that will support them. That Call Daddy show invited Trump, allegedly, and he didn’t agree. Harris won’t go on Theo Von. But Vance has been making the rounds among more combative and frictional outlets. He’s a better fit for those than trying to seem affable with comedians and golfers.

The Rogan podcast, I suppose, is the most out there but who among his listeners will that convince? I get that Rogan rode for Bernie and Kennedy.

The whole machine is just completely cooked and all the bad decisions the Democrats made have come home to roost and can't seem to be fixed within 2 or 3 weeks.

Losing Elon and the tech bros is just part of a bigger problem.
The Democratic party used to be the party of the future: innovation, tech, modern media, healthcare, sports, with Obama they had the whole package.

Now the party is about abortions, censorship and dying news channels trying to stir up race and gender wars.

Kamala should’ve 25th amendmented Biden when she had the chance.

I realized that the smart thing for Kamala to have done would have been to resign at the convention speech freeing her completely from Biden.

What does she have to lose? If she wins, she's President anyway. If she loses, is she going to topple Biden and overthrow the election?

Well Nate, they went from a near-certain loss to a near-certain loss quite the rescue from the 'adults in the party'  lol

Man that labor participation rate back during the good old days was so high. People wanted to work back then.

The "Good old days" overall is really 1980 to 2000. Eerie how the Matrix got "the peak of your civilization" right.  lol

All these numbers can be summed up it as: she is the worst candidate they've had in modern times.

Vance cookin', what the fuck.

I don't like the guy, I won't vote for the guy, but this thing he calls out in this interview is one of my biggest annoyances with modern left-leaning politics. This like...defensive crouching and handwaving of inconvenient facts.

Obviously Martha Raddatz is a media figure and not literally a Democratic Party operative, but she's carrying water for them by just sort of blithely leaning on literally correct distinction---a handful of apartment complexes factually IS NOT the entire city--while just blowing past the emotional reality at 600/mph.

This is something that the left insists they are good at (centering emotional truth that can be obscured by facts and figures) but they are really just opportunistic in this regard, and should be called out for it more.

Spoiler:  (click to show)

Quote:As many of you know, Jimmy Kimmel's writer, Jacob Reed, directed an ad for the Kamala Harris campaign titled 'Men for Kamala.' The ad features what are presented as everyday male voters explaining why supporting Kamala Harris is the masculine thing to do. However, none of the men in the ad are actually regular voters—they are paid actors.

Moreover, their real-life circumstances differ significantly from the individuals they portray in the ad. Here are their stories:

- Wayland McQueen is a far-left, pro-Antifa comedian and actor who has, until now, found limited success. He does improv gigs at the Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles. In a Twitter post from 2022, he explains what white privilege is and tells you why you need to acknowledge your white privilege. As of 2024 he is single.

- Lanre Idewu is an immigrant from Nigeria. He is also an actor who works at the D.C.-based OCTET Productions. He has many intimate pictures with the Obamas and the Bidens. Idewu, who is bisexual, has done gay-for-pay movies and nude solo shoots. In the "Men for Kamala" ad, he says he is “man enough to f-ing braid his daughter’s hair,” but the only problem is that he doesn’t have a daughter. Idewu isn’t braiding anyone’s hair.

- Mike Leffingwell, a gay man, also works at the Upright Citizens Brigade, where McQueen works. He is an acting coach, cartoon writer for Netflix and DreamWorks, and an actor in TV commercials. On his public Instagram page, he showcases his participation in his latest project—the "Men for Kamala" ad.

- Winston Carter, the heavyset fellow in the ad who claims to be a mechanic and rancher, lives in Los Angeles signed with Taft Broadcasting Company. He has found limited success in the acting world, mainly as an extra in films and as a character in the low-budget superhero film Spaghettiman.

- Tony Ketcham, the tough, rugged, bearded grandpa in his garage in the "Men for Kamala" ad, is also an actor. He now mainly does low-budget independent films like Car Botz, where he played the role of PePaw. Tony is unmarried in real life. In 2001, he played the extra role of “alcoholic consumer” in the movie Ghost World.
