At least people are now talking about the wicked movie lol. Before that there was blinding disinterest.
I guess we'll see how it works out. ![]()

a US congressman has called out hasan piker for saying rapes didn't matter
hasan's fans are enraged by this and are organizing on their secret discords to community note the post (and failing, because their "context" doesn't change what is literally being said) https://x.com/i/communitynotes/t/1849611612161819110 ![]() ![]() ![]()

When the "objective" journalism trend came around, they didn't actually stop, they just claimed that siloing off editorial/opinion meant you should trust both the news side and the editorial side more than previously. The actual effect was more that the papers seem incoherent as you move between the sections. I'd argue, not that this is original to me, that most news organizations dropped open partisanship for hidden ideological bias. This makes them appear non-partisan while doing nothing to prioritize truth. Hence, why I've been untroubled about their turn back towards open partisanship. But they're getting savaged by the audience they deliberately primed in a way that was obvious to foresee. ![]()

The fake news calls him dumb or stupid or whatever else they smear on the digital walls with their poop. But the reality is that Elon Musk is the richest person in the world leading the charge in some of the most difficult industries like space technology and cars. So what makes a bunch of clickbait editors think they are "smarter" than the guy that catches rockets that fall from space and owns his own sattelite network? According to the "experts" X was supposed to go offline months ago but as usual they were wrong. ![]()

In her defense that toddler just said that she doesn't care for raising the minimum wage and is more concerned about the shortcomings in the municipal infrastructure

I liked Nintex’s post above for the X comment.

Here is an example of Musk being smart. 5 years ago EVs were popular in the Netherlands and lease contracts basically government subsidized. Volkswagen, BMW, Toyota and other car makers kept their EV prices high and supply limited. But Elon delivered some 30k Tesla Model 3's to our shores. Adjusting the prices so it matched government incentives. Now all those lease contracts are ending along with the subsidies for new EVs. The other car makers prepared for this with cheaper new models but those have less range, no fast charging and less features overall. Because EVs are in general less popular prices on those Tesla Model 3 occasions are expected to drop below 15k, basically ending any hope the German car makers had with new cheaper models. Because the model 3 is a much better car and they can't price anything below 30k. So not only did Elon win when the Model 3 was launched by raking in the majority of government incentives, he is now beating EU car makers again as cheap Teslas flood the market. And most people looking for a car that'll last them ~5 years don't care about the quick write-off or the plastic and paint that won't last.

what's the context there? is it more than "my wife died" immediately followed by "fuck ur dead bitch wife you yt zionist bitch"?
Also I love how often these people say subhuman. Like, if any word is an obvious red flag for a facist worldview...but ya'll ain't ready for that conversation. ![]() |
