Nintendo always been hard on this stuff, but I think they really took offense when people started building businesses off it, money changing hands. Even if was "donations"

I think it was also a matter of the bad press some of their games got as a result of hacked versions running on badly optimized emulators prior to the actual release. Remember ToTK? Prior to release all the people emulating it were complaining about how badly it ran and how unoptimized it was, turns out that was an issue with the emulator and not the game itself. Was some of the same shit with the recent Pokemon releases and even Metroid Dread.

A huge part of the problem has been how normalized piracy of Nintendo games has become in recent years and so they see the need to push back on it. Everyone flew too close to the sun, playing pirated games before they ever came out and then bragging about it or complaining the pirated games ran poorly, and now people are acting shocked that their wings are melting off. If it had all stayed in that gray area, where it was impossible to tell if something was pirated or legally owned, I doubt they'd have gone on the warpath in the way they have.

Problem is people stepped over that line in ways so blatant that they could no longer be ignored or given the benefit of the doubt and so we find ourselves here, with Nintendo burning down the whole thing as a result. All because people didn't use their brains and had to step out of the gray area everyone previously operated in.

welp, guess I am done with buying Nintendo consoles and games then. That is the only reason I continue to keep my Switch around and was buying Switch games (new too!). I would have sold it four years ago if I couldn't have dumped my games.

I'll be sitting out for the Nintendo Switch 2, if they want my money going forward, they will have to reconsider their stances on things. Sure, maybe emulating a console that's still out and being sold was flying too close to the sun for them. And yeah, it was fucking stupid for there to be literal money involved when it came to developing these emulators via Patreon.

But this means that when the Switch 1 / 2 or future consoles from Nintendo are effectively sunset, it would still be considered illegal. Ultimately, it's their decision and the courts decision (is it an official court decision or just Nintendo considers it illegal?), and will have to respect it. But that also means they will not be getting my money going forward.

Stuff like that would get a pass on Ree because it's a woman expressing her sexuality by means of getting railed by a handsome stud. Only women and transbians (and sometimes gay men) can be open with their sexual desires. Straight men can't.

Now what doesn't make any sense whatsoever, is how they react to video game boobs, butts, and sexualized outfits, when there are tons of female performers that have fatter asses and wear even skimpier clothing than the video game characters they complain. That many women also enjoy. 

Imagine still being butthurt and outraged with old school Lara Croft, Quiet from Metal Gear, 2B, etc. all while you've got real life women wearing sluttier clothes than them and showing themselves shaking their big asses in a thong, while millions of people egg them on further.

The cognitive dissonance is just insane.

It had a huge discount so I bought FF7 Remake to see what the fuss was about. After just a few minutes of playing the game, I thought I had made a huge mistake when seeing one of the first characters you encounter wear a fucking boob armor. Sorry game, I'm not a hopelessly horny teenage boy, what the hell? Ugh. But I decided to stick with it, and yeah, it's a fun game. It's also gorgeous, holy shit! And you're telling me it was a PS4 game originally? Wow. I think I'll continue playing, the story is kind of engaging

Like, how do these people, such as this pathetic beta male for instance, even function in life? They've most definitely come across far "worse" on social media involving real women with their tits out. So how can they possibly react this way over mild boob armor?
