To be clear, I'm not suggesting revoking anyone's rights, especially now that the system is stacked so heavily against us. I'm saying I think it's a shame things weren't set up differently from the start, with an educated populace being mandated as part and parcel to the collective success of the nation rather than some sort of suggested platitude or an exercise in optimism, where the founders just assumed it would be unlikely for so many charlatans looking to bring down the country from within would be able to collectively take office like a growing cancer.
