Wait? It was trans kids shit? 

It effectively bans nearly all forms of gender-affirming care through TRICARE, health care that is supported by every major medical association as safe, studied, and lifesaving (statements here)

What annoys me how unspecific "gender affirming care" is. Like what exactly does it mean? Puberty blockers, mastectomies, hormones, tips on how to breastbind? Some of those are more questionable than others

Also "medical association" here means trade associations, not like scientific organizations or anything like that. These are votes of the relevant membership, not even specialists. With "every", "major", "safe", "studied" and "lifesaving" also doing some heavy lifting. 

edit: Like, you can't at all say it's "safe" or "lifesaving" because it's not been "studied" for either, there's not even any studies that show what it's supposed to do and that it does it.

I'll say it again. This trans shit is going to blow up like other scandals in the past and be shown that drug companies have been pushing this shit with bad science for profit.
