Resetera is like, the only safe place I've found where the threads aren't flooded with bile. Yet, here we are; about to spit one last time on the victim's grave, while the perpetrator stands behind us and laughs. I know that sounds dramatic but I don't give a fuck anymore. The worst is yet to come.

What is about Concord that drives people absolutely insane? It's as if the game fails all their ideals about videogame representation are suddenly fraud, so they can't accept that it failed because it looked fucking dumb.

Many of these guys tie their limited self worth to products and companies. More than that, Concord is their The Homer, down to being a Sony published game. They made the rejection personal.

And it’s not just that it was rejected, it’s one of the biggest failures in multimedia ever. We’re approaching 30 years of Waterworld as shorthand for a mega flop. Concord’s failure is way beyond that. Literally heard Ishtar brought up recently. Concord wishes it were as successful as Ishtar.
