Was going to compare it to Saved by the Bell The New Class. But I had to fact check myself here. The New Class ran for seven seasons compared to the original’s four. When did that happen. Who kept watching it.

Iirc they brought back Screech to be assistant to Belding since they didnt like the new cast; dont know if that moved numbers but this was still early days before the fracture of internet tv so Saturday morning tv as a kid youre a captive to either cartoons or nbc's Saved by the bell/California Dreams double punch.
