when I was on gaf and people talked in hushed tones about that bad evil website thebore, and then gaf died and I found my way there to laugh at the ashes, I realized it was a fun place where people could be honest, and I had been lied to, which was illuminating

and it made me wonder what else I have been lied to about, and it turns out it's the same for kiwi

4chan, 8chan/8kun whatever are much worse, kf has rules and is meant to be sfw, you will find all kinds of legitimate discussion of topics forbidden on reddit like studies about trans shit that get buried and hushed up

don't be intimidated by people saying naughty words, you can roll your eyes and ignore it just like people used to on xbox live

With all due respect, I must disagree. To me it's pretty clear that KF represents some of the worst of the internet has to offer. Now by "worst", I don't mean that I think it's on the level of a site that deals in CP, human trafficking, or gore. Rather, I mean that it's among the worst in terms of having a toxic userbase. Simply put, I believe there are some things that just go way too far in terms of taste, ethics, and morals. It's more or less on the same level of 4chan or 8chan, just with a few more rules in place, more regulation, and user accountability.
