Dunno why being obsessed with Egypt would make you hate Tolkien and say “he is racist”, outside disliking western culture in general (somehow I doubt this is the case with him).

Tolkien is really British. There's is the joke the only reason the British didn't took the pyramids is because they don't fit in a museum.
He probably doesn't like Tolkien because it would admit liking something British.
