I never quite understood why it's such a bad word and looking it up online the biggest issue with it seems to be that the bad people are using it.

Generally the case when you look up anything these people freak out over. Ask them and even they couldn’t explain it just some variation on “well the alt right chuds use it… so you know it’s bad!”

I saw Lynyrd Skynard a few years ago and iirc the singer didnt have his confederate flag on his mic stand anymore. Switched it up to an American flag. Probably because of the chuds.
