Some of us may be feeling protective, because a lot of Ramsey's criticism is they don't find them pretty enough or social media attacking a non-binary, gay actor.

Not everyone has to like a performance, but I think people should chill sometimes, suggesting Ramsey should lose a job, and express their opinion with some tact instead.

Why do they always do this?

"Am I to understand, good sir, that you believe this innocent victim should lose their job to satisfy your capricious desires?!"

Catastrophizing is one of their major issues along with zero sum thinking.

They also know they can't challenge someone's opinion so if they can make it immoral in some way then they can. Saying someone is bad at their job is more or less saying that in your ideal world they wouldn't have that job, but that doesn't mean they'd have no job even in the same field so it's not the trap card they think it is.

But yeah, we're definitely seeing an increase in slur usage these days. Shitty people are emboldened now, and they're itching to say whatever garbage is one their mind.

Again, projection. They felt emboldened when Trump was defeated, DEI was pushing everywhere, etc. they thought they were defeating their eternal enemies the chuds. Finally, they would be on top of the world, History was sweeping them to the power they deserve. Now, gasp, Trump won, Gamergate is back, the collective nation of Jewish people is genociding, no social media is safe, etc.

In reality, shitty people have always been shitty and don't adjust their behavior based on who the President is. Biden being President didn't stop them from hounding a woman out of her job for being excited about Hogwart's Legacy or anything else that ResetERA.com has been on about for the last four years. Not even Biden was safe from how shitty they are. The world sucks because everyone else and they'll never stop telling you about it while knowing they're utterly perfect in every way except for how you don't recognize that and respect it properly by doing as they tell you.
