Guys, he's literally the president. We can't just lock everything he says into an OT and act like it doesn't affect the world. Threads like this risk actual news not getting posted as a new thread, something that has happened on multiple occasions with the Elon Musk OT.

We ask that people not post every single stupid thing Trump says, but we can't do a containment thread like this.

I love how they don't trust any of the members enough to decide on whether or not a Trump statement is threadworthy on its own or just some random shit he says that could be posted in the thread for the few interested.

Also, oh no, "actual news" wasn't posted as a new thread whatever will we do. 

Since the problem seems to be that people don't want to see all the Trump threads constantly, why not turn on tags and create a Trump tag so that people can ignore it?
