Twitter is uniquely pervasive, especially when it comes to the kind of news shared here, but there aren't broad calls for the site-wide banning of Meta services, or Youtube videos because it's the "ethically right thing to do".

It's probably just whataboutism, but the level of resistance to Twitter in particular feels more reflective of people's (entirely fair) hatred for Musk himself rather than the ethical implications of embedding links to a platform he owns
