So in the past few days I took several steps. For one told my dad to fuck off after having just recently given him a second chance (he has cancer so I had started speaking to him again. Very conservative and Trump supporting). My sister is trans. He said some terrible things about that recently, and I imagine from being Trump empowered. My sister is trans. I let our brother know he will be eccommunicated if he continues contact with our dad. The dream now is for him to die alone.

I also excommunicated several old friends (who for the first time made really racist comments recently).

I also ordered parts for a new PC build before the tariffs start.

I also stopped walking with several people to our cars after work. I'm a bigger guy and these coworkers previously said my presence makes them feel 'safe.' One made a comment about illegal immigrants being the reason they don't feel safe, and the others agreed. So I'll let them deal with the 'aliens' on their own. (Note: I've never seen a 'brown' person causing problems in our area of work)

My work has some furloughs incoming. Before the election I told a few of them I would take their days off. After all I'm in better financial positions. Right after the election i learned how they voted. I told them I 'couldn't' because of 'economic uncertainty from Trump.' So now I overheard one panicking the other day lol. Specifically that she didn't know how she could afford to pay her rent and her loans. I would have felt bad previously but after she came to work with a maga pin it's absolutely delicious.

My compassion for the people I voted to help but that voted against their interests is all spent. Fuck them. 'Got mine.' Exactly the reaction they would have in my shoes.

One of my friends' children both voted for Trump despite having an 'illegal immigrant' dad so I'm interested to see how that plays out.

I cut off communication with my parents, on the stipulation that they either drop Trump from their lives or their son is lost forever.

Buying a gun today. In Kansas, we surrounded by trump voters. Had a reddit post of a minority nearby me reporting that had a white guy bark at him at a gas station yelling "Heil Hitler".

Not today, I will not allow this in my house. Buying a gun now.
