Isn't this literally the same sort of "release the kraken" scheming that trump nutjobs were doing back in 2020??
For the plot I would love this to happen but President Kamala would be an even bigger disaster. While Trump brings in Elon and his autisties, she would hand the reigns over to the likes of Noodlesoop and Nepenthe.
