Streaming Ads just start screaming at you about some inscrutable influencer microbrand after the second syllable of a 4 syllable word in the middle of a monologue. And then show that same commercial 3 times in a row, 4 times across entire runtime of the episode.
Unironically, I believe there’s a craft to pacing around commercials. There are ramp ups and ramp downs and mini cliffhangers. And shows had to be snappy to fit the 22 or 44 minutes.
