Reading up on this. Yeah. Pretty much made in reaction to Suicide Squad’s success. They’ve been trying since then and kept going through attempts and iterations. I don’t know who Elaine is here but they had William Hurt as the guy and Daniel Bruhl and kept trying to make it happen. Hollywood is nothing if not original.

The people behind the movie, from director to writers, were behind that Netflix show Beef. Didn’t see it. Heard people say good things. Korean actor from that show was meant to play Sentry, replaced by Bob from Top Gun 2. Really diverse cast in this one.
