It's all part of their dumbass shit where they want the stuff they like to be popular with women so they think shoving women into the lead role will make women like their dumbass shit. (And consequently like their dumbass for liking that dumbass shit.) Nah, it's probably just going to convince more men to think they can be the women lead if they believe hard enough instead.
