I'm e/acc and dark MAGA.
Overall while I do not approve of all the methods (i.e. calling Zelensky a dictator) I'm still supportive overall of the policies. Smaller government, pro tech, dismantlling the NGO grift machine, ending the wars. I'm not against that at all. I don't agree with some things and unlike with the left you won't be cancelled if you do. I approve removing all the baby killers out of Gaza and turning it into a crypto Casino with condos. Would I party it up in St. Petersburg? Not with the Putin government, if there was another government? Maybe.
The conservative side of things? Like abortion and everything, not my jam. The LGB thing, well if it remains just protecting the kids against the T's and returns the Male/Female options in video games it has my support. If they start to actually prosecute people that would be bad but I don't see that happening.
Tariffs I'll wait and see what it'll do in the long run. If it leads to everyone scrapping tariffs that's a good thing. The US is hardly the only country with tariffs. I'd rather get our stuff from China even cheaper tbh.
And Trump can troll on the internet all he wants but when it comes to things like Ukraine he should listen to folks like General Kellogg. I was never big on the Russian government but I can see the angle they're playing.
Overall though, this breakneck speed is just how it is in my world of tech and AI. Things change every day. Bringing that into government bureaucracy, which is literally the slowest to change will lead to some bumps on the road. It mostly scares people because they're not used to it and I think Elon and friends should be a bit more mindful of that.
