But if we're talking about how we treat women, the trans issue is a lot like religion. In some countries that are strict Muslim countries, women are treated way different than liberal Western ones. So when it comes to treating women how do we treat them because it's not universal. It's not biology determining this, it's more social interaction like religion.

At the end of the day, you still gotta treat people like people, no?

Yes, but by whose standards though? I don't think anyone here is arguing not to treat trans people like people. It's just what exceptions we give them. Do we give them full "rights" as women or not
