Also, there has been no "tepid response to the multiverse." Evert single multiverse-focused project has been a huge success, whether it's at the box office, critically, or both.
The multiverse stuff has literally been the stuff Marvel can count on to be a success.
People so quick to be negative about the MCU, they're just making things up.
