Does it suck Chinese that had nothing to do with this will suffer? Sure. Sounds like they should do more to protest and shut down Xi then if they want it to stop.
Of course every country has innocent people in it that didn't support whatever atrocities their government is doing. They're still the only people that can motherfucking organize to stop it.
