We're not talking about arguing over different flavors of ice cream, or even ten-year old tweets of one's favorite politicians parading around in Blackface. As I said elsewhere, we need to be specific in our critiques of where we differ politically for these complaints about "purity testing" to warrant merit. And in this instance, we're specifically talking about whether or not it's okay to ethnically cleanse people. That literally should be an easy layup. "No, it's not okay" is the only answer that should fall out of anyone's mouth.

But many American liberals couldn't be bothered to join the fight in pressuring Biden and Kamala and standing up for an obvious instance of oppression when the moment presented itself because of their cowardly, sniveling insistence on "unity" and "decorum." But now they want to complain about fascism now? Like, the fascism was here already and they were the ones goose-stepping because it was a group of people they thought were easily disposable for the sake of political ambition. The moment arrived months ago and wasn't met. Everyone should have been lighting Biden and Kamala up, because Democrats don't stand for genocide right.... Right?

That whole row let me know right then and there some folks around here just don't actually have any hard morals beyond voting D down the ticket, no matter how ghoulish some of these people they let into the Party are.

And yet people wonder why there's dissatisfaction. They wonder why pockets of the left don't want to work with them. It's because they stand for nothing. And if they stand for nothing, that means it is a statistical inevitability that they will throw me under the bus in some way down the line. Hell, it's happened on here!

Ultimately, if genocide is okay, so is racism. So is transphobia. So is misogyny. So is all of it.

I do not trust liberals and Democrats anymore because they all proven time and time again that they are not trustworthy. They are not genuine. They don't care about me, like, just on the basis of being a decent human being. If it's between my rights and electoralism, I am screwed.

Speaking of dodging the hard conversations: convince people who don't agree that it's a genocide.

Because it's important to remember that you aren't making a simple claim that genocide is wrong and they're disagreeing with you, you're attempting to force a premise on them so you can claim they disagree with that simple claim. 

She's a relentless zealot who is not just incredibly ignorant but obviously at this point clearly incredibly stupid.  She doesn't know history, she doesn't understand how the political system even works, she can't comprehend anything about economics, she can't even know what candidates are on the ballot as she's lecturing everyone about them and demanding they vote for socialist parties, etc. She is bitter and angry at the world because she believes it owes her everything when she gives it nothing. She may be the misguided kind of socialist who doesn't understand what they're arguing for, but she's also the vengeful angry socialist that wants to settle imaginary scores like Stalin and Pol Pot did. 
She writes about her hatred of everyone almost as much as MovieBob does and the only reason she doesn't do it as much is as we saw with B-Dubs when he responded appropriately to her saying he should just die rather than compromise on something she was angry about
she's an admin but because nobody calls her out and takes her to task for what she is and what she does. She's not the only problem there but she's one of them and it's ironic because they so regularly preach about how allowing just one bad apple spoils the whole bunch by making them all Nazis.

Say some pie in the sky shit, it doesn't come true, use 20/20 to blame the non believers. This is remarkably what USA leaders do and which nepenthe excels at.  Your ideals failed on their merit so now blame your own people and continue with no self reflection. 

It's like those old generals from the post-Vietnam era saying, "if only we had x more missiles.  If only we had the nuke."  Your idea failed.  When in history has, "If only we did the same shit that failed repeatedly over and over, again and again we would have won," been true.

If ever Nepenthe stopped doing that kind of shit maybe she would have a point.  But she's still the dipshit, "but didn't Tina Fey do black face?" person she was since she started started writing, "politics," as a interest in her bio.  

But still, I love her to death and hope she takes over the forum for the greatest series finale since, like, Macbeth.  Some story were the person achieves power and is killed by the populous.  Julias Caesar? I'm sure there is a HBO show I haven't watched about this.
