I've seen plenty of people like echoes in the deep recesses of the internet

there was a game, an indie game, barely known...the guy had a forum and I ended up on it just wanting to know a little more about the game

and there was some guy...some echoes guy, some very autistic guy...he had completely filled the forum by posting threads day after day, each with like 10 views, most with 0 replies, just saying things like

"hello tom I was playing your game again today and I was just wondering do you think goblins could have a special ability? like do you think when the goblins attack, maybe they could do a scream attack that causes double damage, but only at night when they are feeling powerful? do you think goblins in the lore of your game world could do that? I was killing lots of goblins today and I was thinking about that and I thought it might be a good idea. please let me know what you think"

and I felt bad for the poor guy with his adoring fan, and I felt bad for the obsessed guy, and for anyone else who might've wanted to discuss the game but stumbled on that forum and went "what the shit" and quickly retreated
