Someone doing some very subtle testing of waters maybe? Posting the maiden name is the equivalent of a giant flashing arrow to google.

Hell, this happened a few years ago with Aimee Knight (nee Challenor) when she was working for Reddit as an admin, and a mod in r/ukpolitics got banned for simply posting an article that included her name in it. This lead to hundreds of pages going silent as a strike, while information about Aimee's past was posted all over (relating to her father raping a young boy and her fiancee advocating for sex with minors). Essentially calling out Reddit for not doing a proper background check.
Huh, that's fucked up. Let me look up Aimee Knight...
Quote:Aimee Knight (née Challenor) is a British transgender activist and former politician. [...] She started identifying as a girl around the age of 10.
yeah, all the references to Aimee's father mention "a child" or "a young girl," but I remember at the time there was some not-unfounded speculation that this was Aimee's own sister or step-sister, and was happening with his knowledge
signs pointed to Aimee also being abused but embracing it (hence...y'know)
