Any issues you have is not going to be fixed with a reboot because your issues are with the writing. Rebooting and retelling the same stories from 15 years ago isn't going to somehow improve the writing.

It is already known that they are not rebooting, so I'm not even sure why this still comes up.

X-Men is absolutely confirmed. They've acknowledged that they are working on the film and they have already been introducing multiple mutants in the current universe. They wouldn't be doing that if the plan was
 to reboot.

He keeps taking about the X-Men and Fantastic Four coming to save the MCU as if both of those franchises haven't had a succession of absolute stinkers in the past. 

Nothing is stopping the MCU train from going over the cliff. Nothing.
