It also seems weird to talk about Bezos and Musk as some kind of oligarchs when they got rich in most of their lifetimes. And Musk's most important company is probably the least commercial. Why didn't the oligarchs before them do this plan if it's so simple? Why all the corporate mergers they've been bitching about over the last half century if they needed to collapse the economy to scoop up assets?
