I'm a trans woman in the US and people like me are already barely able to freely exist in most of the country. My energy goes towards helping and protecting my community from erasure. Not everyone in the US has the energy or ability to do more than try to survive. Your existential dread is my actual reality right now. You're asking for Anne Frank to fight for Poland.
