I was walking with my 9 month old and dog when I saw a couple loudly arguing. At one point the woman started walking away from the man and the man went up and shoulder tackled her with off the sidewalk to a sloped area.

I went up and said it was assault and the woman said she was going to call the cops but never did. She asked for my number which I didn't feel comfortable giving but I said I'd wait for the police. I then went to drop off my son in the house and when I came back the woman had left but the man was still there and he was apologizing to me for some reason.

Now there's really nothing I can do. It sucks because my mom went through this shit.

Im just venting and wondering if there's anything I should have done differently.

Can't help someone that doesn't want to be helped...
