There's a reason we don't ban content based on who is behind it: it's an incredibly slippery slope that has no real end. We made an exception for Potter, yes, but it was only after a lot of deliberation and with the understanding that we will not be doing anything like that again. The whole reason we started banning people for advocating for us to ban stuff is because we knew that if we banned Potter, that everyone and their grandmother would see that as an opening for us to ban every single slightly problematic thing that they didn't like. It would literally make the forum ungovernable for us and unusable for all of you.

we don't ban based on creators...except when we did...but we ONLY did it as the SINGLE AND FINAL time we would ever do it (did they say that??? doesn't that seem insanely arbitrary???)...and so in order to protect the One Ultimate Ban, we have to now ban active posters to protect ourselves from our own bad decisions??? Also rape is now "slightly problematic".
