I agree that this kind of stuff deserves criticism
To a point. If only because it would be a little cringe to see a Mexican themed K-pop party with everyone wearing sombreros, some mustaches and people speaking broken Spanish.
I also have mentioned I found offensive the stereotype of a blonde fat white swindler english speaker with a comb stealing from PoC.
I get the idea of waiting to be recognized for more than a stereotype:
