There is a lot of stuff that is left out at LN and Manga, or just inferred at games… but really, how the fuck I’m supposed to know that Dante is depressed in DMC2 because he killed a possessed Vergil? A first time player of DMC1 will say “that was supposed to be Dante’s brother? Why he is still acting like a goofball and being corny with Trish?”.
