New rule: every post that mentions a game title must also include (GOTY) in parenthesis. Since every game was released in some year, it is therefore a game "of the year", so this appellation is accurate.
This will reduce poster friction in the forum by demonstrating sensitivity to posters who are nonconsensually forced to perceive that games that they enjoy play feel vague affinity toward are either critically or commercially unsuccessful differently successful.
All games are games of the year, and this should be respected by all posters. Violations will be harshly actioned.
