You cannot "BECOME" a woman if you were born a MAN.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emanationism wrote:Emanationism is a cosmological theory which asserts that all things "flow" from an underlying principle or reality, usually called the Absolute or Godhead. Any teachings which involve emanation are usually in opposition to creation ex nihilo as emanation advocates that everything has always existed and has not been "created" from nothing.
They also contain elements of the Gnostics (who have elements of both):
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gnosticism wrote:Gnostic cosmogony generally presents a distinction between a supreme, hidden God and a malevolent lesser divinity (sometimes associated with the Hebrew Bible deity Yahweh)[1] who is responsible for creating the material universe. Consequently, Gnostics considered material existence flawed or evil, and held the principal element of salvation to be direct knowledge of the hidden divinity, attained via mystical or esoteric insight. Many Gnostic texts deal not in concepts of sin and repentance, but with illusion and enlightenment.
But I would argue that they tend to reject the idea that this is outside of their control and therefore insist on the truth of voluntarism combined with modern constructivism which you can regularly see in their assertions that someone should and could do something non-specific if they just weren't a coward/corrupt/chud/etc.:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voluntarism_(philosophy) wrote:Voluntarism is "any metaphysical or psychological system that assigns to the will (Latin: voluntas) a more predominant role than that attributed to the intellect",[1] or equivalently "the doctrine that will is the basic factor, both in the universe and in human conduct".[2]
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constructivism_(philosophy_of_science) wrote:Constructivism is a view in the philosophy of science that maintains that scientific knowledge is constructed by the scientific community, which seeks to measure and construct models of the natural world. According to constructivists, natural science consists of mental constructs that aim to explain sensory experiences and measurements, and that there is no single valid methodology in science but rather a diversity of useful methods.[1] They also hold that the world is independent of human minds, but knowledge of the world is always a human and social construction.[2] Constructivism opposes the philosophy of objectivism, embracing the belief that human beings can come to know the truth about the natural world not mediated by scientific approximations with different degrees of validity and accuracy.
Adler looked at some of this:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Individual_psychology wrote:According to Adler, humans are primarily motivated by feelings of inferiority.[11] In his view, an individual's personality traits stem from external factors arising out of the drive for superiority.
...
In Lazarsfeld's view, in adverse circumstances, however, a child who feels inferior compensates—or overcompensates, sometimes in a grandiose fashion,[14]—by striving, consciously and unconsciously, to overcome and solve life's problems, moving "from a felt minus to a felt plus". A high level of compensation could thus produce subsequent psychological difficulties.[15]
...
In cases of discouragement, individuals who feel incapable of developing in a real and socially valid way create a fantasy of superiority—what Adler termed "an attempt at a planned final compensation and a (secret) life plan"[21]—in a secluded area of life, offering shelter from failure and loss of prestige. This fictional world, sustained by the need to protect an anxious ego, private logic at odds with reason, and a schema of apperception that interprets, filters, and suppresses real-world data, is fragile.[22] It is vulnerable to mounting internal tension and external assaults.[23]
Or to TLDR in the form of an artistic masterwork:
