I am still not sure how the UK went from Tories not making a big deal out of trans people to Labour enthusiastically banning trans people in the span of 10 years.

I dunno, maybe it was all the sex offenders deciding they're women and want to go to womens prison after being caught molesting women and children.

Like maybe if you as a collective had decided to firmly distance yourself from those people despite it establishing that maybe some people who claim to be trans are in fact not, and removing some of your self validation, things might not have got to where they are now
