Whenever a Black celebrity gets in trouble the BCT has to form a perimeter around the discussion and secure the narrative. More "Looks like ol' Unc is fuckin' up the bag smh" and less "this poor woman" than you'd expect from a discussion on the right side of history.
I just find all this feigned disbelief that it would EVEN occur to a famous and wealthy former athlete to "put his hands on a WHITE WOMAN?! (UNTHINKABLE!!!") to be adorable.
