So, because I don't actually want to misgender people I asked what pronouns I should use. I got a reply that was two paragraphs and didn't even answer the question.
So I guess they/them. I just wish they would have it more sorted out before they proclaim it to everybody. I mean if you haven't figured it out yet maybe you didn't need to make a public statement about it? I don't know.
I really don't want to be an asshole but I'm an old gen X'er and think... who really cares about how masculine or feminine you feel? I mean as humans don't we all question these things? Seems like such a stupid thing to turn into something so big now we're determining public policy over this.
Non-binary is really one of those confusing things. When I grew up feminism declared that any gender can do anything and still be no less valid. A dude can wear a dress, a woman can have a shaved head etc. all without now being less of a man or a woman. Many drag queens for example are explicitly not trans. But now people declare that they actually are less of a man or woman because of their interests or appearance and are now something in between, and, to me, this just seems impossible to mix with those prior believes.
