Seen enough of Bree’s posts that I wanted context for what drives somebody to be one of the dumbest people alive.

She made a short film in 2010. Then transitions to activism, because of her claim

Speaking as part of a panel at Spelman College in 2014, she said: "The space that exists for many of us, as a young black girl, is so extremely limited so that you really can't go very far without being an activist, without being in defiance of something."

In 2015 she finally got noticed for taking down a confederate flag. Since then, nothing she’s done has caught on. She being loud and stupid for attention to regain that high. She has 460,000 followers and rarely the engagement to match. Her pinned tweet (from 2018) sums it up.

Whenever I die, please don't allow my image to be co-opted by the power establishment. Don't let my name & likeness be used to argue for peace in the absence of justice. I believe uncompromisingly in the liberation of the black, poor and oppressed from systems of white supremacy
