So the unpacked nuanced version of this argument, is that when you have a systemic elitism - lets call it "The Establishment", because calling it "White Supremacy" presupposes what the issues with establisment pipelines actually are - its not that people outside of that pipeline do not have merit or are capable of doing that job; its that certain merits are perceived as more desirable than others.
So someone who attends all their classes and works Door Dash to pay their way has perceptibly less value to an establishment pipeline than someone who spent their summer as a paralegal for Uncle Mike at Dewey, Screwem, & Howe - the establishment pipeline is self perpetuating as it looks for the 'right kind of people' to perpetuate it.
Same deal as you need an MBA to be a corporate executive. Regardless of your actual talent, knowledge or experience at doing the job that would entail (and conversely, no matter how actually shit you might be at a corporate role but still have an MBA).
