Reading about Sound of Freedom, it’s actually an interesting story. Not the plot or whatever. But how they shot it in 2018 under Fox. It fell into limbo when Disney bought Fox. The filmmakers spent years trying to rescue it. Finally landed at Angel Studios and is managing to be successful. Like, removed from the culture war, that’s a good thing, yeah? In a time when corporations are shelving content for tax reasons, it’s an artist fighting for their work and winning. The Batgirl directors should take notes.

Although the story around Angel Studios is funny in its own right. They started as a service to edit media to be wholesome. Tits and blood and dick and cursing. All gone. Binge all of Euphoria in 7 minutes. Movie studios sued them. They gave up on it and started producing movies via some equity model. And it is Jesusy stuff, but not full Kevin Sorbo and Gina Carano type content.
