In a recent interview she said something about starting out as a leftie but when you start working and earning money etc. it is common sense to turn to the right instead and the left wing ideas are shit.
The BBC did a fact check post debate and found out Farage was... right about basically every statistic he brought up.
I think the big problem for the left/center in todays political climate is that all the things people like Farage warned about for years actually came true or ended up being even worse than expected. People can see it in their every day lives.
However, I don't think that Farage is leading the same movement as he was 12, 8 or 4 years ago. I'm getting the sense that other groups are merely using the experience, popularity and outreach of well known politicians like Trump / Farage to either pass their reforms or simply throw a wrench in the globalist agenda. The Silicon Valley CEOs, Crypto holders, investors, influencers, (former) super models, non-woke actors and film makers are enlisting them.
They talk about all this as being 'long term projects'. The Reform Party has a 6 year plan to replace the Tories, it's not just about getting Nigel Farage a seat as it was before.
These people also know that as long as politicians like Trump and Farage take all the heat, they remain out of the crosshairs of the left wing mob.
And I think Farage and Trump realized that they can't do it alone or with just "old money" anymore as more and more people join this movement.
